Elementary School Kaiserslautern

DoDEA Department of Defense Education Activity, the school authority of the US Department of Defence, is implementing a new school concept, the "21st Century Schools". With an open, light-flooded design, a central common area with an event stage and canteen. The class areas, separated by mobile glass walls, can be used as individual classrooms or as inter-class workspaces. A globe in exposed concrete construction makes a special statement.
